🏝️ Scopello

Scopello is a famous seaside destination in the Gulf of Castellammare, which links its image to the Faraglioni rocks that caress its panorama. It is also known throughout the world for its Tonnara, a tuna fishery located within a picturesque cove. Today, what was once one of Sicily’s active tuna fisheries is chosen as an ideal and coveted location by many film productions. Several scenes from the film Ocean’s Twelve and some episodes of the famous Commisario Montalbano fiction were shot there, among others.

A few kilometres from Scopello is the suggestive archaeological site of Segesta, while just 2 km away is the enchanting Riserva dello Zingaro, a small corner of paradise on earth, stretching as far as San Vito Lo Capo. An ideal destination for those who prefer holidays in contact with nature, in uncontaminated places that know how to give indescribable emotions.
